
“We need more tombstones!”
That’s a cry heard around the house somewhat regularly.
This particular edition is based on a real life tombstone we saw in a cemetery in Sandwich, IL. We built it pretty much the same way we build all of them, multiple layers of insulation foam, a sander to shape the foam, and a router (this time the Dremel router due to the fine detail) to carve the letters and stone face details.
In addition to paint we added a little moss to this one for some different texture. The moss totally doesn’t hide a carving mistake on that upper right corner…
