2024’s big build was the Teeter Totter. Over the years we had seen a bunch of home haunts with a teeter totter. Some of the props were store bought from Spirit Halloween, others were home made. While we loved the concept, we struggled with how to make it fit the overall story of our display. A random child’s playground toy sitting in a graveyard really makes no sense.
While visiting a local old graveyard we noticed a bunch of broken and decaying tombstones and the idea hit us. What if we had a tombstone that was broken by a fallen branch? Two mischievous skellies would certainly not waste the opportunity to take the branch for a ride.
The following posts cover some of the construction details.
